The use of certain UV filters found in sunscreens poses a risk to marine ecosystems and biodiversity, particularly in fragile environments such as coral reefs.

Coral Bleaching: Common UV filters, including oxybenzone and octinoxate, can contribute to coral bleaching by disrupting the photosynthesis of zooxanthellae — the algae that corals rely on for survival. As a result, corals lose their color, weaken, and reefs become less capable of supporting marine biodiversity.

When you purchase a swimsuit from our collections created in collaboration with French artists Lola Mathé and Tiffany Cooper, you directly contribute to coral reef restoration efforts.

Track My Coral

Your coral will be nurtured by Coral Gardeners in dedicated coral nurseries located in French Polynesia and Fiji before being transplanted onto a natural reef, helping restore marine life and biodiversity.

Once registered, you will receive a personal tracking link where you can follow updates about your coral.

You can also track your coral directly on our website in the RODA Reef section by entering your nickname into the search field on the interactive Track My Coral dashboard.

Simply scan the QR code on your certificate and complete your registration.

Within 21 days of your purchase, you will receive a personalized participation certificate by email.

Follow your coral’s journey — from its first days in the lagoon to its growth in the nursery and eventual transplantation onto a natural reef.
